Parking-lot clients in Old Riga will be able to pay with bank cards, e-tickets and SMS
To offer more options of paying for parking services in Old Riga, Rīgas satiksme has already put five ticket vending machines at the entrances of Old Riga located in Smilšu Street, Poļu gate, Mārstaļu Street, Audēju Street and Grēcinieku Street. In the nearest future a ticket vending machine will be also put at the entrance in Kungu Street. So now drivers will be allowed to buy a parking ticket at any entrance and then to park their cars where it is allowed. The vending machines will accept bank cards, as well as e-tickets with the activated electronic wallet function, to which money is transferred.
It should be reminded that parking tariff in Old Riga is LVL 3 for the first hour and LVL for each following hour. Parking services are to be paid for every day from 6.00 till 24.00, including holidays and festive days.
